What it takes

We see the rounds, the time under the lights in front of the cameras. The pressures of the world’s media and attention scrutinising minutes, seconds, instances.

As I sat in the MSG watching a modern day classic as both Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz hit the canvas — I thought ‘we don’t know’. We don’t understand the hours that have gone into this, the sweat, the preparation, the hours of work that goes in before we make our summations on what went wrong or right.

Four weeks out from my boxer, Richard Riakporhe’s fight on the undercard at the O2… I decided to try and show what I saw, show what it takes.
